1797 Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Barrel Regimen: A portion of the blendis aged for 6 months in Blackletter Bourbon barrels with level 3 & 4 toast, from historic MGP Distillery. Bourbon barrels are made from new American oak & used only once in bourbon production. Repurposing these barrels lends an excellent depth of flavor when aging red wines.

Tasting Notes: Rich and distinct with complex notes of blackberry, coffee, nutmeg and caramel. A velvety smooth finish of plump dark fruit and spice flavors brought forth from added time spent in bourbon barrels.
