Dollarhide Estate Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2021
Description
A brightly colored wine with yellow and green hues. Citrus notes of lemon, key lime and grapefruit lead to aromas of kiwi, pear with a hint of tropical fruit, anise, and wet gravel. The flavors follows suit; green lime, grapefruit, grapefruit zest and kiwi dominate with a subtle thread of toasty French oak rounding out the textured mouthfeel balancing with crisp acidity.

Vineyard: Dollarhide Estate Vineyard
St. Supéry’s Dollarhide Estate Vineyard is planted with nearly 500 acres of grapevines, allowing the more than 1,000 remaining acres to thrive in their natural state. Vineyard elevations range from 600 to 1,100 feet above sea level. Napa Valley’s warm days and cool nights are slightly exaggerated at Dollarhide because of its elevation and its distance from the cooling influence of San Pablo Bay. Seven different soil series, 13 different soil variations, and the unique microclimate come together at Dollarhide to create an especially accommodating growing environment. This climate yields ripe, luscious, well-balanced grapes that produce excellent wines to pair with food.
